Parents & Children Together St. Louis

Overview

Parents and Children Together – St. Louis (PACT-STL) is a five-year grant from the Administration for Children and Families. The purpose of the project is to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of child abuse prevention strategies to improve the safety, stability, and well-being of families through a continuum of community-based services and supports. Vision for Children at Risk
(VCR) is leading the five-year initiative. The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis is the evaluation partner for the PACT-STL project. CPHSS is collaborating with Dr. Patricia Kohl and the Center for Innovation in Child Maltreatment Policy, Research and Training to conduct the PACT-STL evaluation.

The PACT-STL evaluation utilizes a mixed-methods approach that collects both quantitative and qualitative data. The evaluation consists of four components: a needs assessment, a process
evaluation, an outcome evaluation, and a quality improvement assessment.
