Overview

CPHSS is partnering with St. Jude Global on a research project funded by the National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes for Health (NIH). The INvestigar Sostenibilidad Para Institutiones de Recursos limitados con EVAT (INSPIRE) project examines clinical capacity for sustainability among hospitals that use a Pediatric Early Warning System (PEWS) for detecting complications during treatment for child cancer patients in Latin America.

The INSPIRE project will follow hospitals over time to help understand what supports PEWS sustainment. This will provide an opportunity to develop strategies to help sustain interventions that improve cancer treatment for children and reduce disparities in childhood cancer outcomes around the world.

Funder: National Cancer Institute

Contact: Virginia McKay

Project Duration: 2023-present
