CADCA Tools & How-to Manuals

Overview

In Summer 2023, CPHSS partnered with CADCA to update a set of coalition development tools with the goal of providing coalitions with best-practice, evidence-based resources that can be used in a variety of settings and with different communities. The project began with a scoping review of more than 250 resources. The scoping review, in tandem with expert review and real-world testing, will inform the creation of six new tool templates:

• Strategic and Action Plan
• Logic Model
• Community Assessment
• Partnership Engagement Plan
• Communication Plan
• Evaluation Plan

CPHSS will develop a companion how-to manual for each tool. These manuals will be plain-language resources to support coalition members from many backgrounds and levels of experience as they implement the tools to drive planning and action in their communities.
