Stephanie Andersen

Manager of Research Translation

Stephanie is the Manager of Research Translation for CPHSS. She oversees several projects focused on the translation of scientific evidence into practice, including the Best Practices User Guide project to develop a set of “how-to” implementation guides for building effective and sustainable comprehensive state tobacco control programs. The guides cover topics such as Cessation, Youth Engagement, Health Communications, and Health Equity. Stephanie also manages the Translational Science Benefits Model project, which provides benchmarks to assess the impact of research that applies scientific findings to enhance public health and well-being. Additionally, Stephanie serves as Translation Lead for the Dissemination & Implementation Core of the ASPiRE project, which seeks to build a strong scientific evidence base for effective retail tobacco control policies.
