Overview

The overall purpose of the Strategies In Disseminating Evidence for Chronic Disease Prevention project is to help health departments use evidence-based decision making to prevent chronic disease. In a trial of 12 state health departments, 6 departments received evidence-based decision making training and technical assistance. Six other departments were used for comparison.

Our Center’s role in this project is to perform a bibliometric/citation analysis of the development of Dissemination & Implementation research. Starting with early seminal work, we will trace citation linkages forward to map the backbone of most highly cited research in the field.
